By early yesterday afternoon, it became clear that the ear was not improving. It was worsening. I called around to a bunch of doctors but nobody could see me, so I hied myself off to Ye Olde GW University Hospital Emergency Room. There I was diagnosed with an ear infection, and presented with a prescription for a giant bottle of horse-pill antibiotics. Whoo hoo! Two antibiotic pills into my treatment, my ear is not perfect, but is much less pressury and painful than yesterday. Oh sweet sweet amoxicillin...

I am now on Evil Sudafed. The ear is improving, I think, but very slowly. Yesterday it was pretty much completely blocked up; now it indulges in tiny little wee mini-pops that do not really relieve the pressure but at least allow me the comfort of thinking that there may be some end to this thing that does not involve me taking out my eardrum with an ice-pick.

Looks like we have the place! Yay!

On the health front, I was almost totally better, when my right ear closed up again yesterday. And is still closed. It is driving me mmmaaaaddd. I just went and picked up some OTC Sudafed. If it doesn't work, I'm going to go back and get the evil Sudafed that you can make into meth from behind the counter.

Apartment hunting. Fingers crossed, we may have found a place. A nice place. A super nice place. With all items on the wishlist, and more! Couldn't sleep last night, I was too busy pricing and arranging furniture in my head.
