Sayonara, Suckers

Off to NYC again tomorrow. I will be here and here, and points in between. Come out and let us listen to poems and music and also consume items such as food and beer!

After that, I will be off to Newport, Rhode Island, where I will pretend to be a nineteenth-century plutocrat. I've already started practicing beaning street urchins upside the head with dimes.

Oral argument went well. And now it is over. Huzzah! Yesterday morning, I learned a lot of interesting things from my cabbie, including:

* American women don't dress well enough.

* All the devil's handmaidens and altarboys are employed at the American embassy in Syria.

* Lebanese people are the best people in the world.

* The Metropolitan Museum of Art is made out of shoddy materials.

* Japanese people will cheat you.

There was more, but I think that gives you the flavor.

I came away from the Burlesque last night with an awesome new "Future Neglectorino" hat. Saw Shanna off on the train to NYC this morning. Will be headed up there myself this afternoon, in advance of my first oral argument at court. Will I faint? Throw up? Acquit myself honorably? I'll let you know the results tomorrow afternoon.
