Friday, happy Friday! The prospect of at least one work free day. And my Sunday work will be from home, so that's better. Huzzah. Tinysides 6-10 are on schedule for completion this weekend, with portions of 11-15 going into production immediately thereafter. But not everything in the world is great. The evils of corsair pants and Suri Cruise still haunt this world. And I hereby put all non-great things on notice:

I really should be a-folding and a-slicin' the final 50 tinysides in Group 6-10. But folding is boring. So I designed some new Big Game Bookmarks instead.

The old bookmark is on the left. Joining it are: Big Game -- King of the Sea, and Big Game: Flowers from Heaven. Look for them in any of your future Big Game orders. Huzzah!

One million things to do today, so I made a list. Now I can cross "making a list" off of my list.

Going to write another drunken sailor poem. It will be called "A Portable Puffin."

Reading Elizabeth Treadwell's new book, Cornstarch Figurine, and loving it. Also just finished a collection of Mayakovsky's early, pre-revolution poems. The revolution was good for him, I think. Prior to that, all of his poems sound like "Rick, the People's Poet" -- you know -- "I am a misunderstood genius, woe is awesome me." He was a talent in search of a topic.

A small update on the weekend. Mark came to visit. A new coffee table. Changed out the lightbulbs. Ate much cheese.

Bound another fifty tinysides. One more set to go before 6-10 will be ready for distribution. Most of the cover designs for 11-15 are done, and I should send out galleys in the next week or two. Still slotting people in 16-20. Happy poems of goodness spiraling into infinity.

Got some time to review my own work as well. Surprised to learn that I've written almost 50 poems on the topic of "what I would do with a drunken sailor." Hmmm...
