It's Saturday, I saw Snakes on a Plane last night, and I no longer feel like killing people. I feel like killing snakes!
Okay, not. Mostly I feel happy about not going to work for two whole days! Whee! I shall eat tasty things and play with poems and bind more tinysides.
Mark is going to adopt one of his chimeric mice as atonement for the many dozens more that he has slaughtered in the name of science. Now we must come up with a name for the mouse. He is black with brown patches.

Reading Patriot Act banking regulations is like reading some kind of weird sci-fi about a fascist government. Er...
Anyway, repeated references to things like "Imposition of the Fifth Special Measure," and such. A sort of wonderful obtuse language that makes me think of centralized economies and idealism that embraces hierarchies.

Have you ever had a day that's so stressful, you not only want to kill people, but you think it would come as a relief if you did? Like, "oh, I just killed a bunch of people. Guess I can cross that off my lifetime to-do list. Now all that's left is ordering a 'Personal Pan Pizza.' And maybe a Slurpee. Yeah, I sure could go for a Slurpee."

It's fun to note how many people I don't know order tinysides. A lot of it, I suppose, is "friends of the authors" orders, especially since I have a lot of people ordering Tinysides 6-10 who didn't order 1-5. But with this set, as with the last, they mostly order the whole set, even though I can't imagine they happen to know the five random poets who get lined up together. Happy poems going hither and yon. Whee!

bookbinding tutorial, replete with photos. Even shows how to fold and paste those dang mitered corners -- something that makes
zero sense in pictureless instructions.

Paper arrived yesterday for use in future tinysides -- more Pegasus Digital, but also some "Carnival Vellum" and "Royal Natural." Now I can spice up my colophons.

Yard Kitty
lately spotted feline visitor to Capitol Hill
Too much productivity this weekend leaves me kicking feebly. Tinysides are ready for Tuesday launch. Got a headstart on 11-15, too -- 11's finished, 13's ready to be bound, and the covers for 15 are printed and cut.
Considering a new vispo projecty thing. Bought lots of materials. O how I love paper. Fabulous colored paper.
