Today is the first day of the new fiscal year! In lawyerly parlance, this makes it Billable New Year. I celebrated by bringing donut holes into the office.
Last night, Jeff and I were listening to iTunes while watching baseball, when a song came on that I did not recognize. He said he did not recognize it either, but it had to be one of my songs. I asked him why, and he said, "You know...it sounds just like the Mountain Goats. Or Belle & Sebastian. You know, like everything you listen to . . . a tenor and a Rickenbacker."
So there you go.
