I haven't written in a while. I am trying to do something here. I am studying poets I admire. I am hoping to get to something new, some synthesis of what I am reading and what I want to say. But what do I want to say? I have ideas, I have been thinking them over, but I am still at a stage where, when I try to write things down, it is like a chorus of people with all the emotional and intellectual spectrum of an 8-color crayon box have taken over my head. I'm working my way up to 64 colors and the in-box sharpener, that's what I'm doing.
