Back at work. La-dee-dah. I am also researching opthalmologists. Tomorrow I shall call hither and yon in search of someone with an "MD" slapped on the back of their name to peer at my eye, and perhaps prescribe something for it. Reasonably sure that I have some kind of corneal abrasion...the redness is all concentrated on an area about half the size of a dime, next to the iris of my right eye, it feels like there's sand in my eye, and it's really starting to bug me. It hasn't gotten worse, but it isn't getting better. Feels fine when my eyes are closed, i.e., whenever I am not constantly raking my eyelid over the suspected scratch.

I am somewhat excited about the prospect of getting to wear an eyepatch for a few days. If I do, I will also wear striped shirts and dig out all of my nautical jewelry.
