My computer is now fixed -- I finally rooted out all the nasties hiding on it, restored some system files that were inadvertently deleted during the initial devirusing phase, and now I have Nortoned the hell out of the machine. It is nice to log on to the internet without 70,000 popups and downloads and crazy porn audio files opening themselves up on the screen.
The porn files were pretty funny, though. They all involved tutoring situations. Like, "you know how to spell, don't you, Steve?" I had no idea there was such a market for sexy-help-with-your-homework scenarios.
