The first tinysides are underway. I'll post something about the project on the Big Game webpage tonight. Rain continues (bleh) all about D.C. -- given the number of flooding and leaking sob-stories I've heard in the last 36 hours, I'm extremely pleased to note that my home has remained dry. Less encouraging: the squirrels have begun to assault the tomato plants in a particularly obnoxious way: they grab a tomato, take it onto the eaves or fire escape of a neighboring house, take one bite, and leave the rest of the fruit to rot. Tabasco sauce has been applied to all remaining fruit that appears to be ripening. Pictures of abandoned, rotting tomatoes delicately placed in gutters by squirrelly paws to follow.
