Merry Christmas, y'all! Have a poem.

Santa Worm

It's a goddam winter wonderland out here
And we're all gonna go for a ride--on my late model,
clean-burning fantastical Santa Claus worm!

I keep him in the barn out back and feed him ham sandwiches
And hay, candy canes and beer, and by Christmas time,
he's all fat and wriggly, with energy to burn.

See how the moonlight, painted in cool and antiseptic blues,
Curls away with the speed of his ride, how the smoke from his exhaust
Encircles his head like a wreath? Here, snowbaby, take

The reins. Frosty's called shotgun, and I'll climb on behind.
Giddyap with your sleighbell collar, pretty Santa, it's time
for all the wintry cheer your red hat and round cheeks

Can Provide, and you look just so stylin' with "XMAS"
Painted in capital letters on your candy-coated kick panels -- just
The perfect spirit of modern charity: slick and
Mechanical, so bitchin', so hyperdesigned.
