Went to the Boog City reading last night, and heard some good stuff. Dan read, but I also heard some good new-to-me poets, Elizabeth Frost and Brian Clements. I could not stay up to go to the song poem event at Bowery Poetry Club, though. Any reports?

Tomorrow, you and sundry must break away from your usual Saturday entertainments and hie thyselves off to the Four Faced Liar for a Painted Bride Quarterly-sponsored game of PIMP (Poetry Improvisation Meets Postmodernism).

On Monday, you and your sweetheart can get smacked upside the head with yet more PBQ-tasticness, at Pete's Big Salmon, which just has a generally awesome season lined up.

Oh, and you should go see The Gates, too. Christo! I live near Central Park and while walking home from the subway last night, saw oodles of big orange metal doohickies looming up out of the gloaming at me. Soon they will be cloth-encrusted doohickies! Huzzah!
