Work on Novelty Act goes apace. I have cover art, which I'll probably post later, seven poems I can call "finished," and around fifteen that need a little bit of tweaking here and there...generally just a line or two that needs erasing or reimagining. I've been reading over the drafts and am a little bit amazed at the variety...I managed to keep my over-syntaxification-and-cause-and-effectiness at bay until the last few poems, and in those, a tighter ordering seems to work. I also seem to get along much better with "translating" poems from Slavic languages than from Italian.
