Mark has tried to talk me into taking Valium when I go on airplanes, in order to avoid the holy-rolling hour o' fervent prayer and anguished eyes o' terror that is the usual hallmark of such voyages, but maybe I could just listen to
Billy Collins. Much the same effect as Valium, really, and entirely non-addictive. Link via
